👋 Welcome to My Nerd Cave

Just a blog. Self-hosted. Held together with SSH, duct tape, and good intentions.

“If this server is down, I’m probably fixing it with coffee in hand.”

🧠 What’s This?

This is my personal tech blog where I write things I’ve learned, broken, fixed, broken again, and eventually figured out. It lives on a machine that’s:

  • Sitting quietly (hopefully) in my homelab
  • Occasionally makes loud fan noises
  • Is more reliable than I am on Mondays

Whois?

🏡 About the Setup

Yes, this blog is self-hosted.

Not on some cloud giant’s infrastructure. Nope.

It’s powered by a humble server stack running in my homelab next to a Wi-Fi router and some questionable cable management.

But don’t worry—if it explodes (figuratively), there’s a backup version quietly humming away somewhere on public hosting.

🧭 Peek Into the Lab

Curious about how it all works behind the scenes?

Here’s the messy but functional high-level architecture:

👉 🗺️ View My Homelab Architecture

Spoiler: It involves Docker, a Raspberry Pi that thinks it’s a data center, and at least 37 YAML files I pretend to understand.

🔄 In Case of Outage

If this site ever stops loading, it’s probably:

  • A power cut
  • A config I “tweaked” at 2 AM
  • Or my cat walked over the UPS

Fallback version should still work, though. Because redundancy is cool, and I’m paranoid.

🚪 Come On In

This blog isn’t perfect. It’s not polished.

But it’s mine.

And it’s always open for fellow tech wanderers, homelab tinkerers, and blog readers with good taste in servers.

Grab some logs. Stay a while.
